Share This Space curated the first Homegrown Pop-Up Market at the Etisalat Beach Canteen as part of the Dubai Food Festival 2017. The market showcase some of the upcoming homegrown brands and entrepreneurs from Dubai.
The event saw almost 8000 visitors on the day and was a huge success generating sales both at the event and post-event on online channels.
“Market’s are simply not the same as when I was growing up. I still remember going to markets on a raining weekend in London and finding second hand and unwanted things. Fast forward to today where this form of Pop-Up Retail has been refreshed and given a lease of life with designers and creatives from all industries using it as a cost-effective way to sell and engage with their customers creating brand awareness and boosting online sales as well” added Shahzad Bhatti, Founder of Share This Space.
